The Kitsap County Fair is comprised 7 volunteer directors as the County Board. The Kitsap County Fair hosted its first annual County Fair in 1923 in Port Orchard some 15 miles from its present location. In 1958 It moved its present location in Bremerton. In 1929 exhibitors at the Fair totaled 1,000; today there are more than 6,000 with annual attendance of 80,000.

Today the Arena holds 5,000 spectators and is used year-round for various events such as D-derby, Draft Horse Show, monster trucks and more. The complex has an annual overall attendance at its various events of more than 211,000. One of the Kitsap County Fair main attractions is “Xtreme Bulls.” This show offers Professional Rodeo at its best, Top Cowboys, Cowgirls and Livestock. Other Live entertainment shows include The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack show and Cowgirl Karen Quest. The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack show a historical, educational, humorous show filled with audience participation. The Cowgirl Karen Quest Live Show is a unique fun-filled Vaudeville-style western comedy act complete with trick-roping, whip cracking, music and lots of surprises.
